How to sleep train your baby

Which way is right for your baby? Every baby is different. Answer a few quick questions below and we'll show you how to sleep train your baby the right way.

What is sleep training?

Sleep training teaches your baby how to fall asleep on their own, and how to get back to sleep when they wake in the night. There is more than one way to do it. Which way is right for your baby depends on their age and how they fall asleep now.

  • There's more than one method. We pick the one that fits how you feel about crying.

  • Age changes everything. A 6‑month‑old and a 1‑year‑old need different approaches.

  • Naps matter just as much as nights. Most babies need a plan for both.

Does sleep training mean my baby has to cry?

Some crying is normal at first, because your baby is learning something new. But you decide how much crying is okay with you, and we pick the method to match. Some methods keep you in the room the whole time.

Sleep training is for babies four months and older. Any younger, and we'll tell you what helps instead.

Every baby is different. The free assessment looks at your baby first, then tells you which method is right for them.
